Having just moved house, we were faced with a tricky task of finding a quality integrated fridge freezer to fit a very particular and peculiar space. We had looked everywhere, having gone to the kitchen manufacturers first, but they didn’t have anything that fit our requirements from an energy consumption perspective, size and % split between fridge and freezer compartments. Then I check AO.com and suddenly I was faced with a choice! The Haier unit we chose maximised the space we had, gave us the split we wanted AND had the best energy rating - a really important factor right now! Of course, like we all do, I shopped around online to see if I could find it cheaper, should have known AO would be the best price! It was easy to install (AO do offer a good value installation service), and we’re super happy with it. It’s got great features, and very configurable with how you can place trays and door compartments. It’s really quiet as well, can’t hear any constant hum from it at all. The freezer section is great too, easy access top section and draws that slide out with ease. It’ is without doubt the best unit we could find to fit our funny tall, thin cupboard! Should have gone to AO first!!

Bought to replace failed unit. The finish is excellent from compartments to covers on hinges. Nice and quiet. The WiFi is handy but not essential.

Wow! We finally got around to replacing our fridge/freezer which was installed with the kitchen and purchased the Haier Frost Free unit. What a difference, fitted perfectly and just WOW, so cold, and just perfect for our needs. Yes it does have an additional drawer in the fridge unit, however we have just changed the way we fill it up. I took the wine rack and 1 of the door baskets out as they were surplus to requirements. The freezer actually keeps the ice cream cold, something our previous freezer failed to do. I love the app that you download with the appliance, it gives you control over the temperatures of both fridge & freezer, plus the holiday setting is great too. not too sure I can be bothered with the part of the app that keeps track of the appliances inventory. I will say wait to purchase extended cover as there is a cheaper option that comes inside the unit, half the price of AO extended cover. Really pleased with my purchase and so are the rest of the family.

This is a fairly standard integrated fridge freezer. So far the quality looks good - lights are bright, drawers seem sturdy, things are cold. I appreciate the energy rating on this model, usually you'd have to pay more for this. Happy overall.

Truly Awful! Two in a row did not get cold enough despite setting both the Fridge and Freezer to minium possible temperatures. Absolute fiasco in getting them replaced, involving having to have a Haier engineer come out who then cancelled the day before, the second engineer said he had no idea why they need him to tell them what they already knew... The second replacement also has the same fault and so again Ao insisted on speaking to Haier for an engineer visit - by which time this fiasco would leave me with out a working Fridge for nearly a Month since I first ordered it.... Anyway, finally getting a Beko - fingers crossed that might actually work. The Haier H8W5518EK_WH clearly has a number of design faults, firstly it doesn't work, secondly the door seals lack any kind of actual suction and thirdly good luck trying to put any 2ltr bottles on the wine rack or any tall wine bottles for that matter as the door won't shut without removing some of the door storage.... The App is pointless it let's you set the Temperature but doesn't actually tell you if it has been reached - you'll only find that out when your food goes bad...As for the open door alarm, well you'll need to be stood with your head in the fridge to actually hear it!. I hate everything possible about this Fridge Freezer and the hassle I have had not to mention wasted gone off food!!
