Fridge has not worked correctly for several weeks, massive frost build up and food freezing, even though it is on the lowest setting. Hotpoint Engineer visited today, and was informed that it required new parts. Not bad for a 2 month old fridge.

I'm rather disappointed init. Although the outside dimensions are slightly larger than the previous model, the space inside is actually less. The door container for the egg tray is narrower, so that, although there are two rows of holes for the eggs, you can only use one row for large eggs, as there is not enough width to accommodate the second row. Only one shelf is provided, so storage space is limited. I wish I had chosen a fridge with an ice box, as this actually offers much more useful storage. Finally, I have to have the thermostat on a very high setting before the fridge reaches a low enough temperature. I would not buy it again.

Bought as a direct replacement for the old model. Unfortunately, I have to say the quality has been reduced, plastic appears poorer, shelving does not have the plastic surrounds the old model had so a concern as to their strength. The actual layout has changed, not for the better, and the impression is storage is not as efficient as before. I will not buy this again and may look to other brands if quality deteriorating becomes a serious issue.

The Hotpoint fridge is well made, but there is some difficulty with opening the door, as the gap is very narrow to put your fingers in to pull the door open.

Fridge works just fine. The handle to open it is badly designed and when opening the fridge door you catch the top of your fingers on the door frame. If not for this problem would have 5*

OK for the money however, there seems to be quite a series design fault. The area required to open the door is far too small. It is difficult to get your finger in and my hands are not all that big. Perhaps, if I had been in a shop and been able to try the fridge I may have chosen another one.

Nice fridge, runs quietly. My only problem with it is that it is rather small.

Fits under worktop and works well. It replaces one of the same make I had had for years hopefully this will be the same.
