We previously owned a George Vacuum Cleaner and the build quality was bombproof, serving us faithfully for 10 years, with no problems. Unfortunately, the new version is nowhere near the same quality. Every single component is of a cheaper manufacturing quality, three weeks in, and we are already having problems. It is also worth bearing in mind that the previous model had a 1200w motor the new model is 1060w. If its your first George you may be impressed whilst its still new, if you've owned one previously you will be dissappointed. Pro George is a great dry and wet vacuum cleaner. It is realy good and powerful. Con I recived the pack with 1 missing feature (the long adapter sprayer) so it is very dificult to clean a large surface with a small sprayer. I have to stay in the knees.

It’s a great product - for a factory. I bought it for domestic use. It does everything but in this environment is too big, clunky and heavy. Wrong choice - I should have bought a Henry

Very good suction power! Hoovers saw dust like no other. Does what it says, idk if carpets are fully clean as the nozzle doesn’t have a brush but they feel cleaner and you see the dirty water in the bucket. A bit heavy but worth it for the variety of functions. Still yet to try it in upholstery, so no opinion on that.

It actually does its job

I purchased George numatic as I needed another wet and dry cleaner. I had another well known brand for carpet cleaning but it was overated and did not last long. I saw a youtube blogger complain that because George does not have a roating brush it does not clean effective. Tosh !!! You just have to put the extra work in. Also it depends on the shampoo you use. At first I did use the shampoo that was supplied but had some professional cleaner that gave better results. I had some deep stains in a number of carpets that needed removing. The normal carpet cleaning head was ok, though would have been better if it was same size but the width of the upholstery cleaner. Which I resorted to using as the wider blades worked into the dirt and removed them as the shampoo sprayed on them. The power of the George then sucks up the dirt and drys the carpet with ease. Yes, using the smaller attachment was hard work but gave excellent results, and worked well over large areas. George was easy to assemble but there are plenty of videos around to assist if you have problems. Would recommend.

Easy to set up, comes with loads of attachments but not the easiest machine to use, runs out of washer fluid quickly and can give me back ache bending over for long periods. Do like the motor cut off when the waste water bucket is full. Overall very happy with it.
