I've always wanted a grill, and this week i finally got one. the tefal optigrill is great because its very easy and so fast to cook food ! it takes 5 mins to heat up to temp, put your food on and for my pork steak it took about 4 mins! perfect! you can make grilled cheese sandwiches on it using the manual temp mode . it doesn't beep to let you know its cooked in this mode unfortunately so you have to keep checking. the american version had a sandwich button which beefed when it was done but i guess they thought us brits would better use a bacon button instead, so thats what we got for the UK version. it cooks bacon great btw! clean up is easy with a bit of soapy water. it looks really modern and space age ! the build quality is really good. its definitely a looker ! i am very happy with it and would recommend it to my friends. its something i can see me using every day.

This Grill is great, and very easy to use. It has many features on it for cooking different types of food, all at the push of a button. It has a thickness gauge on it for steak, so it can tell you how cooked it is, with an alarm that sounds at each stage from rare, to well done. also a flashing light that changes colour as well with each stage. It has a temp setting on it for grilling veggies, and a button for cooking from frozen nuggets. only con i could find with it was that it takes a little longer to heat up on first use, all though this could of been hungry at the time and wanting my chicken

The Tefal GC713D40 Opti Grill is perfect for everyday family use. It is quite a bulky product but I believe this is so they could fit in all the awesome features that it has. When you first open the grill you will see that the bottom plate is slightly angled. This helps the excess fat/oil to drain into the drip tray. Both the top and bottom tray can be easily removed and can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. They can be clicked back into place just as easily. On the handle of the OptiGrill you will find all the control buttons and the glowing LED cooking guide. The control buttons allow you to turn the grill on and off and change the mode to dedicated or manual. The dedicated modes are so you can have your meat (whether it's chicken, steak, bacon or fish) cooked to perfection and even cooked from frozen. The LED cooking guide allows you to see when your food is cooked correctly. The LED changes colour and beeps for every stage of the cooking. It glows pink when it's heating up, purple when it's starting to cook, yellow when it's rare, orange when it's medium and red when it's well done. This is perfect for when you are wanting to cook some steak to medium for your picky guests! Two features that I really loved about the OptiGrill was that it automatically switches to a warming stage after cooking so your food will stay warm without burning, whilst waiting for the rest of your dinner to finish cooking. Which is brilliant when you have a busy family life! The other feature that I loved was that it has an automatic sensor which helps the grill to thoroughly cook your meat by adjusting the temperature to suit the thickness. Pros: - Easy to remove plates - Slanted bottom plate to allow excess oil/fat to drain away - Automatic cooking sensor - Automatic warming stage to prevent burning - Colour changing LED and beeping notifications during cooking - Cooks meat to perfection! Cons: - Bulky which makes it difficult to store All in all I absolutely loved this product and highly recommend it!

I have tried many grills in the past but this is the best. It cooks to perfection, easy to clean because the plates are removable. It is bigger than i expected. I love it

We really love our optigrill, I was worried at first it was a whim product, but we’ve used it so much for steak, chicken, toasted sandwiches. A great product.

Brilliant, cooks the steaks how everyone likes them. Grills the chicken as it says on the box!!!! Grills easy to hand wash or just put in the dishwasher Excellent ??
