I Bought this G1223 Liebherr freezer in July 23, so now had it for around 4 months. it looks good and matches my Liebherr fridge. It is quiet when running compared to my previous Hotpoint freezer. It seems to keep the temperature well at regular house temperatures. The big problem I noticed is that the welds on the rear pipework are very poor quality. After a a bit of time using the freezer crystals are forming on these tubes and then falling on the kitchen floor, so I presume these are refrigerant from the pipework (small leaks)? So this shouldn't happen after only four months.

It’s complete madness to put a on and off switch at the front. So if you have young children don’t buy as it’s so tempting for them to switch off the lights. Yes it is a great freezer but if you have it in a utility room with cupboards above just wait you will see what I mean when your freezer defrosts. Such a shame as it’s a great product other than that stupid switch

Freezer arrived on schedule and delivery team polite and helpful. Capacity not as big as old unit despite having the same exterior dimensions - presumably due to thicker insulation needed for A+ rating. Supplied with bulky Euro plug and UK adapter - fortunately my socket is above the freezer, but could foul the condenser if the socket was at the back of the cabinet.

Got down to temperature quickly and is quiet. We like having the controls on the front with an alarm symbol if it goes above temperature. Drawer fronts are plastic so not sure how long they will last , but let’s see . Our last one lasted 35 years so it has a long way to go .

Never heard of Liebherr until I started to shop around to replace my existing freezer. Was impressed with the build quality and the fact the freezer operated at low ambient room temperatures. Like the digital temperature display so I can select the temperature I want the freezer to operate at. Design is neat/simple. The three drawers hold more items than they first appear too, although this freezer is adequate for a single person or couple I think a family would need a larger capacity. Was good to find a decent freezer at 55.5 cm width as choice in this range is limited. Only drawback for me considering the price is the fact it doesn’t have an auto defrost function, plus it was fitted with a European plug ?? with a chunky British adapter. On the whole though am very pleased with this product so far.

Seems a great product, didn’t have UK plug but AO quickly helped with that.

Early days, but seems like a good buy. Quiet and, according to the rating, efficient. Delivery service was excellent.
