Well-built but very limited - belongs in a museum
2/5
The microwave operates reliably, and seems well built - but has many limitations. It's because of these limitations that I wouldn't give it 3 stars (perhaps a 2.5/2.8, as it is well-built - it's just very basic).
No internal lighting except while heating, hence inconvenient when opening the door to place or remove items. The dial can be difficult to read, so brief 10 or 20 second heating sessions are awkward.
I'm sure it's a reliable microwave, and it's been fine reliability-wise so far and looks solid. It's odd that a good manufacturer like Bosch has put such an outdated design onto the market. The functionality on this microwave is so basic, and out of tune with modern living that it really belongs in the 1970s/80s - or a museum, unfortunately.
