    Disappointing purchase

    3/5
I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the manufacturing of this cooker. We’ve had ours six weeks, the numbers are already rubbing off the dials and several screws have fallen off. As a cooker it does a good job and I am pleased with the temperature control but I am concerned how long it will last :(

I spent a long time researching before deciding on this cooker and am so pleased to have made the right decision. It perfectly answers my needs and is a delight to use

Excellent cooker shame about the grill pan.

    4/5
Excellent cooker. One criticism is the grill pan which is karge, sharp edged and difficult to slide into racks.

    First impressions

    4/5
First impressions of this oven - seems ok but hob is slow to warm up. Fairly flimsy exterior. Hob has an annoying lip at the front which gathers crumbs.

    Lovely replacement.

    4/5
This was a replacement for the belling cooker we had. We had the previous one for twenty years and had really good wear out of it. That was the reason we went for a new one from the same manufacturer. This new one hasn't disappointed. Looks good, works well. What more can you ask for.

Looks the part and cooks well

    4/5
The cooker came in very strong reinforced polystyrene packaging, but it was difficult to remove from the base of the packaging as there were no handholds to assist in lifting it out. The cooker is very nicely finished and appears to be well made. The doors are very solidly built but open and close smoothly. The controls, while plastic, have an appealing chrome finish. In use, the hob rings heat up and cool down more quickly than I expected (this is my first electric cooker after having gas for many years) and it's easy to set the correct temperature for a simmer or rolling boil. The oven likewise is easy to use. Note that the main oven light is on continuously while the oven is in use. My only concern has been that if something spills from a pan onto the glass hob, it can become baked on pretty quickly. Belling advise that you only clean the hob with soapy water so it can be difficult to remove some material, such as oils. Overall this is a great cooker and I am happy with my purchase.

    USER Faults

    4/5
A: The hotplate really DO need a warning light lit until the plate cools to a safe level' B: Whilst the chromed ring showing the heat setting on ALL functions LOOKS smart, with the normal overhead lighting the actual setting is LOST in the reflected light that is always at the top of a round switch with normal kitchen lighting from a ceiling fitting!

    simple to use

    4/5
Large oven spaces with simple to use controls. Cleaning is easy as there aren’t too many annoying grooves to navigate. The only downside is that there are no lights to indicate that the hob is turned on. I would recommend this cooker which looks very smart when installed.
