Traditional looking cooker, good solid feel
4/5
So far all seems well with this cooker, after getting used to the procedure for lighting the burners (a bit different from our old Belling - on this one you have to keep the knob pressed in for a few seconds after ignition). Everything feels very solid and well built, and the cooker certainly looks the part (a bit different from the usual, and one reason we chose it, apart from wanting a British Belling cooker). Timer is easy to use, and oven heats up quite quickly. Heating in the oven is very uniform - great for baking.
Only a few slight niggles
1) 'New' smell from oven still lingers when turned on, even after quite a few uses
2) Hob quite fiddly to clean (but then most gas hobs are)
3) No handle for grill pan (why??)
