Firstly the strimmer cable doesn't auto-feed out as required. It snaps off and has to be dismantled to tease out again. My lawn is just a little bit bigger than my front door mat so the cable was nowhere near long enough. Oh how I wish I'd got another Black & Decker

the cutting line breaks every time it is used .I havent managed to do more that 3 feet before having to switch off and rewind

Brilliant little strimmer for the price. Very simple and straight forward to use and put together as it all just clips together, would clip down also for easy storage if you havent got the space to store it. Sturdy and more robust than expected. Lightweight. Definitely recommend. Delivery was free and next day

Trimmer works great but the trimming string not very strong it keeps breaking. The spool provided does not have lot of string. Spool with string had to be bought after a using few times.

Easy to assemble and operate. However, it's frustrating to have to keep on re threading the strimmer thread as it constantly breaks off inside the cartridge. not difficult to do but wastes time.

Used it once and within 30 min ran out of strimmer wire. This is going back at my first convenience. TOTAL WASTE OF MY MONEY

I bought this to replace my previous Bosch trimmer which fell apart after 12 years. This trimmer is the updated version of my old one. I’ve dropped one star for two reasons. The first is the line is supposed to lengthen when the trigger is released but it is very hit and miss. I have been extending the line manually. The second is the weight. Even if you know the weight beforehand it is not like holding the item. This is quite heavy. They have updated the model and it is very well constructed but that is where the extra weight comes in. On the plus side the trimmer is an amazing price for the build quality and it is quite powerful considering it is one of the basic models. It was not worth returning as I only use it for a few minutes when I mow the lawns. I can put up with manually feeding the line. The only thing I wish it had was a longer cable. It does seem quite short.

Came the next day. was a bit fiddly putting together but maybe because was new. soaked the line in water as seen online to stop from breaking. cleared my jungle of a garden no problem. would definitely buy again.
