Firstly AO.com Sales & Customer Service were very attentive, helpful & quick to respond. The Samsung Dishwasher is visually very smart but when it comes to operation & use the feedback is less positive. The door feels very light & almost a bit cheap. The regular basket positions do not allow sufficient space on the bottom basket for regular sized dinner plates. This can be resolved by adjusting the upper basket to it’s higher position, which in turn causes the upper basket space to be too small to receive taller or pint glasses as they foul on the cutlery tray. Whilst a very common feature nowadays the cutlery tray is seriously time consuming to load/unload & given the issues with the spacing between baskets we have removed the cutlery tray completely & reverted to a separate basket for cutlery. Having made these modifications the Dishwasher does clean well & can fit full sized plates on the bottom, alongside taller glasses on the top, however having removed a whole tray to achieve this it doesn’t feel that this is the way it was designed to be used?..

    SAMSUNG DISHWASHER

    2/5
Dishwasher looks nice, buttons and dials are quite easy to use, these are the good points, matches my fridge which I luv. Bad points. Doesn’t dry properly after a cycle and that’s on every selected cycle, the inside condensates all over so I had to dry everything which defeats the object of having a dishwasher. As mentioned in previous comments the standard plates don’t allow the dishwasher washer spinner to work so you have to lift the tray up which then in turn catches on the top tray so as you pull out the cutlery tray out it catches on the one below and pulls that one out as well not a great design. On two occasions whilst testing the machine the tablet didn’t release probably which is very frustrating. Had a big debut with AO and eventually they are replacing it with the same design just to see if this machine I have is a faulty one as the next model up is over 700 pounds, they also wanted to send an engineer to view this machine which I was happy with but it was a week later after my phone call which in turn would have taken me over my 14 days to return this machine due to the fact I wasn’t happy with it. AO also wanted to charge me 10% handling even when I’ve only had this machine for 4 days, this was because they wouldn’t be able to sell it again ?? AO advise you to talk to samsung direct before to let them know the problems which I did but trying to get through was just a headache, it was like calling an insurance company for a quotation, it took me nearly all of Sunday just gone to get this sorted. I bet your wondering why I’m going for the same machine , that’s because I have samsung in the rest of my kitchen and I wanted it all to match but I couldn’t afford the next model up, I’m going to try the replacement just in case this machine was a faulty one ,if not I’ll be changing it for another model. lets see what happens as machines do sometimes go wrong.

    Very disappointing

I chose this dishwasher for its cutlery tray feature, as I had really liked that on my previous Siemens dishwasher. What a disappointment. Right from the off this feels flimsy and insubstantial. I can not stand a full size dinner plate up in the bottom tray without the washer arm hitting it. If you raise the upper basket up to accommodate the plates, you can’t fit anything in the upper tray as it then won’t fit under the cutlery tray. I so wish I could have afforded another Siemens, and would dearly love to hand this Samsung one back. It washes well, but annoys me every time I load it. It’s good looks hide a poorly thought through machine

    Not sure yet........

Bought this dishwasher to match with my other appliances. Looks good, program bar a little flimsy for the money. Still struggling with how to load it. Cutlery tray cleans the cutlery better but a bit of a pain! On the whole not sure I would have bought this dishwasher if not looking for a certain look!

A fine product but not perfect.

Good appliance with a few small annoyances. Our Bosch machine of nearly 10 years broke down so replaced with this. It's slightly smaller than we're used to, we are unable to put pint glasses or even large tumblers in the top shelf due to the cutlery shelf above. If the top self is lowered then you cannot fit standard 10" plates below, we never had these issues with our old dishwasher. It also feels quite light weight and flimsy in comparison. It has good features, is very quient and probably much more eco efficient. All of our other applicances (washing machine, tumble dryer, standard fridge freezer and american frizge freezer) are all Samsung and we've been very impressed, this is the first product that we're not a huge fan of. It will do the job.

Great looking but our plates don’t fit and fiddly to put wine glasses in.
