I bought this dishwasher as I have other Samsung products and they're good! However, I would not recommend this appliance. Within 2 weeks it had a fault with the overflow, which left me with a flooded kitchen and floorboards lifted. The engineer came to fix it 5 days later and seems okay now. Also the cutlery tray at the top stops you from putting anything other than short glasses on the top basket. If you lower the top basket then you can't put normal size plates on the bottom basket. On certain programmes the dishwasher doesn't rinse properly and residue left on inside of the door. I asked AO to swap it for me but I have to give them 20% of cost, which I think is unfair. I have the AO membership and am within the 30 days.

The cutlery drawer doesn't wash properly so have had to remove and buy a basket. Tall glasses don't fit with the cutlery drawer in anyway even if you lower the rack. The tablet function only works on a couple if settings not on all and we have always used tablets. it doesn't always clean well either, to be honest I've paid much less for ones that wash better. I reported the things I consider faults and have had an engineer out who said its in full working order. So nothing I can do other than warn you.

The trays design was completely useless for our rather chunky Anglo-Saxon crockery. The real problem was the softener system was not working correctly and Samsung support were unhelpful.

AVOID at all costs, looks great and is very quiet but a completely useless dishwasher. Doesn't wash the powder off glasses properly. Leaves everything soaking wet on all settings. Powder tray gets stuck all the time leaving powder all up the door so needs to be run again. We are currently washing by hand. To add further insult to injury Samsung claim the machine is in perfect working order and want to bill you for the call out charge. They need to recall these machines immediately as they are not fit for purpose and refund all of us.

Do NOT buy. Drying is awful, cleaning is awful and customer service is even worse! This machine looks great but it doesn't function as it should do - dealing with Samsung customer service is something that has frustrated me more than any other customer service dept and I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again

The glasses don't fit and NEVER wash properly. The cutlery is always dirty and the plates don't fit. All the settings I have are as they should be, water pressure bang on and everything set up properly but it just doesn't wash. I've had lots of different dishwashers over the years but this one is my biggest regret - don't waste your money. I wanted to like it. I think AO are fab to deal with but this is the worst dishwasher known to mankind.

AO were great but this is the worst dishwasher I have ever had. It frequently doesn't dissolve the detergent (any brand, even liquid). Tried to phone Samsung on the number published online but it advises this is a possible scam number so went to the live chat which asks ludicrous questions like have you loaded it correctly and used a recommended cleaning product? Then they send you a link to a self help document which leaves you on your hands and knees trying to figure out if your water pressure is correct. Funny never had a problem with my Bosch on the same fittings! Gave up and just put up with it even though machine is only 8 months old, until tonight when it dumped water all over my kitchen, making a horrible noise. Have followed the troubleshooting advice published but it hasn't reset the machine. Not looking forward to making contact with their online chat service again. Have totally lost faith in this machine. In summary, DO buy from AO we have used them many times, just don't buy this dishwasher!

I've had dishwashers for 20 plus years and this is the worst one I've ever had. So the tech side of it is amazing - it's Samsung after all but everything else is horrible. It doesn't do a great job at cleaning dishes unless you go back 15 years and use powder and lay the dishes out in a certain manor. The detergent holder catches on any plates in the rack so you have to make sure you move them somewhere else. Really, stick to a brand known for dishwashers, not a tech company who obviously don't seem to do real world testing.
