    Does the job

    3/5
As always, I purchased this as a 'distress' purchase - previous machine had broken down. AO is always speedy and reasonably priced. The machine works well but has some funny spacing on the shelving. In short, it's fine, does the job but I'm not over-excited by it. The key for me will be its longevity.

Great clean if a little damp at the end

    4/5
Seems to deliver a good wash however my only concerns are that it barely dissolves the plastic type washing tabs. I have the tab option selected. Also the wash cycle finishes with all the stuff a bit damp and wet. Kind of have to towel dry stuff before putting it away.

    Samsung brand

    4/5
I bought this product for the brand, but it does look nice. This is the first dishwasher I have personally owned, in the space of a week, we have only had to put it on twice so has saved so much time with the daily washing up, not to mention water and resource to heat the water every day. Saying that I was not impressed with the first wash lots of residue water, but this could have been the eco setting I used, or the way I loaded it, so havng made adjustments, hopefully the second wash is better.

    Worst Dishwasher in the Universe

    1/5
The glasses don't fit and NEVER wash properly. The cutlery is always dirty and the plates don't fit. All the settings I have are as they should be, water pressure bang on and everything set up properly but it just doesn't wash. I've had lots of different dishwashers over the years but this one is my biggest regret - don't waste your money. I wanted to like it. I think AO are fab to deal with but this is the worst dishwasher known to mankind.

Average quality, very poor quality manual, good wash though.

    3/5
Medium quality machine, basically a typical mid-range Samsung product that has nothing to write home about. It is one of those products that really does not feel like the best part of £400, more like a £200 item. The internal materials used are flimsy, and at best, medium quality. The design however, this is really poor for the internal mechanics, all of the movable trays are flimsy, noisy as well as having a cheap feel about it. Generally nothing much really fits and there is very little adjustment options you find in a number of other dishwashers to allow larger items in. The Cutlery Tray, the plastic is VERY rigid and will not bend around any cutlery. This means cutlery will bounce out and move around as you close the drawer - I expect many will find it irritating that they need to check every item before putting away, some will need a re-wash. The adjustment feature that allows part of the tray to hold larger items is quite flimsy and prone to do it's own thing. This feature unfortunately allows for gaps along the edges of the tray and you will find cutlery that slips out of your fingers is prone to smashing glasses in the tray directly below if that is also extended at the time. The height adjustment on the middle tray, is not at all well designed, and has just two settings, both don't work for mugs, or for lower level plates - neither setting allows good clearance for anything - very poorly designed. I guess I have been spoilt with my previous, now not well decade old Siemen's washer, which offered many height adjustment settings, allowing a perfect compromise for all levels and all items an d simply felt value for money in it's flexibility and build. This Samsung washes well, and cleans as expected, but the above loading problems make this a very poor design that does not meet many expectations. Like many Samsung products, this too struggles to get all features to work well, let alone excel. A disappointment internally. Now comes the printed manual and the control buttons.... OMG who translated this manual, this is close to the poor quality you see from many products from China. The manual itself is absolutely diabolical, probably the worst I have seen in modern times. It is entirely written by someone who clearly never has setup this dishwasher, the language inconsistent, the instructions are all ordered very badly so you will find yourself flipping 10-20 pages back and forth repeatedly to work out what the icons mean, which one does what (until you have memorised it all). The entire order of the manual is utterly wrong, with the setup/installation procedures mixed somewhere in the middle, after the loading instructions. There is no quick-start to alleviate this awful manual. I'm tempted to ask Samsung if they want to employ me to sort this mess out - it REALLY IS BAD! The product itself is reasonably easy to use, with very few real options to choose from, once you have worked out what these strange and newly invented icons mean (most seem an odd choice for their stated function). Samsung are well renowned for not following icon convention - just look at the mess they have made of their phones software. The dishwasher control menu (placed entirely on the outside) is quite sequential and not at all complicated, just long winded if you accidentally skip past the programme setting you desired - it really is a device that should have just had 7 programme buttons, one for each wash type, rather than bouncing through a menu using a single button being pressed repeatedly (with an icon that means nothing to anyone). Thankfully there are few buttons, (all with odd icons), so it only takes a couple of minutes to guess which button does what. I so wish Samsung would stop trailblazing their own path with obscure and unique features/icons that mean nothing to anyone who does not work for Samsung. The child-lock, thats a total waste of time, it requires a short 3 second press to activate/deactivate, so those of you who have disciplined you toddlers very little will experience programme changes by Junior for sure (a three second push is easy enough to achieve by a toddler). I have never seen such a poorly written manual. The menu system is not very self-explanatory, unless you remember every new icon you see, first time, forever. The outside, it looks quite smart, but the tell tail signs of cheap plastic designs, and things that fit together like a Tesla ... nice alignment at one end, and adrift by multiple millimetres the other. The under-door plastic scoop is not curved, and has too many areas that liquid spills or crumbs can hide in, and is not so easy to access and clean. I wasn't overly impressed with the noise levels and the clunking and whacking noises .. even when running empty. Overall, I feel I've made a bad choice and the reviews here that predate my review have been misleading and don't reflect the machine build or design accurately. I'd recommend a higher quality dishwasher, especially if you have had a mid-range quality dishwasher in the past.

Loving it - good size and layout

    5/5
The cutlery tray is a huge bonus. The layout is good and there is loads of space for everything. It also looks good!

Good looks, quiet but few negative points

    4/5
    - Hygiene function and option to either wash only top or bottom or both trays for a quick wash. -Quiet and really cleans the utensils however there are some practicality issues. -Cutlery tray is at the top hence limits what can be loaded into it. -The plates, cups and utensils have to be stacked in a certain way as per manual for optimal performance. -The trays feel low quality when you pull them in and out. It's smaller in height compared to my previous dishwasher so that explains why we can't fit bigger utensils which we could fit in previous one. I didn't realise this until it was installed. Overall bit disappointed due to negative points but still there are lot of positives

    Great so far

It's so quiet I thought it was broken. It doesn't leak. It looks great. It cleans stuff...well. These are just a few of the improvements over our old machine.
