Generally I’m very happy with this dishwasher and how it operates. The dishes and glasses come out spotless and dry, it’s easy to use and it looks good in my kitchen. I particularly like the large cutlery tray at the top which is useful for kitchen knives and utensils. I would still have liked a cutlery basket for knives forks and spoons (I kept the one from my old dishwasher. I have 2 small criticisms, the first is that some parts of this dishwasher e.g. the drawers seem cheap and flimsy which is disappointing for a dishwasher of this price. The second is that some of our (standard size) plates, glasses, baking sheets and roasting tins are seemingly a few cm too large. You can raise the upper basket to accommodate larger items in the lower basket, however this moves the problem to the upper basket. We have found ways around this and in general I’m very pleased with this product. Written approximately 3 weeks after delivery so I have no info about longevity.

I am a samsung tech product only kinda guy, TV, Laptop, Phone, Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer and now the Dishwasher. This Dishwasher is a great performer for the prices range, the only issue I had was that the shelf height was at its lowest and the turning washer jet kept getting caught on the dishes in the bottom shelf. My better half duly pointed out the upper shelf height was adjustable, we raised it and 'hay presto' clean dishes! The machine is relatively quiet as well, we have had other dish washers that you couldn't turn on at bed time because of the noise level, but this machine has an acceptable noise level. I would definitely recommend this product on the basis of the price range and features.

If you want to be able to wash standard size dinner plates, glasses and cutlery at the same time then don't buy this. To wash standard size dinner plates the upper shelf needs to be adjust to it's upper position as the washer arm and plates clash. Unfortunately, with the upper tray in that position you can't fit a pretty standard size glass tumbler in the tray without it clashing with the cutlery tray. The cutlery draw design isn't ideal as it takes up valuable space required lower down in the dishwasher. Also, the limited sweep of the spraying arm leaves items almost unwashed towards the front and rear of the tray. In summary the dishwasher does a poor job of fulfilling it's primary function and will be replaced very quickly when I get frustrated at not been able to wash plates and glasses together.

I chose this dishwasher for its cutlery tray feature, as I had really liked that on my previous Siemens dishwasher. What a disappointment. Right from the off this feels flimsy and insubstantial. I can not stand a full size dinner plate up in the bottom tray without the washer arm hitting it. If you raise the upper basket up to accommodate the plates, you can’t fit anything in the upper tray as it then won’t fit under the cutlery tray. I so wish I could have afforded another Siemens, and would dearly love to hand this Samsung one back. It washes well, but annoys me every time I load it. It’s good looks hide a poorly thought through machine

Good points: it looks good It's quiet Easy to use Bad points: The racks spacing for crockery is awful and I wish it was something I had considered.
