    Doesn’t work for dinner plates

    1/5
It’s not the best. It doesn’t fit our plates in it. At least so that the spinning gizmo thing that sprays water spins around. It just hits the plates as it sits too low. Would avoid this model.

    Disappointed due to rust

    1/5
Disappointed with this machine after only 6 months rust emitted from around the inner top section which is supposed to be stainless steel which in turn damaged our cutlery. Also poor customer service from Samsung as they would not cover under warranty or even send an engineer to inspect. Great service from AO exchanged immediately

Avoid - worst dishwasher. Over priced o er complicated

    1/5
Worst dishwasher. Avoid. Never dries properly and plates stink due to this. Over engineered. Too much model numbers. It has highly super complicated simple functions. Whoever designed this should understand, end of the day it's just a dishwasher not a spaceship. Cheap hotpoint one can do better. Only buy if you don't want to dry your plates. Planning to ditch this and get a new one.

    The Worst Dishwasher

    1/5
Absolutely, Shockingly Bad. This dishwasher is awful. I have had the dishwasher for a couple of weeks now and I have tried every possible programme - I can confirm they are all awful. My glasses come out dirtier than before putting them in; they are covered in cloudy deposits and streaks. I followed the instructions when setting up the dishwasher and selected the appropriate salt and rise aid settings. I tried the deep/ intensive wash for pots and pans last night and my rinsed porridge bowl still came out dirty. I am having to re-wash everything by hand because a bowl of hot soapy water does a better job that an £400+ Machine. This is not a cheap machine and I am so disappointed in it's performance. The set up of the shelves do not lend themselves to practical stacking. The top shelf is laid out in a way that will not accept mug and glasses without them falling over. I expect a machine of this calibre to produce gleaming results, and this definitely does not. Don't waste your money. (I would give it 0 Stars if I could)

    Leaks from new ?

    1/5
Came up with a 'machine leaking' code the second time of use and every use thereafter. No way to clear code listed in the manual. Water at the back of the machine where hose enters. Now waiting for Samsung to come and 'repair' a brand new dishwasher. Needless to say I'm not impressed so far...

    Washes well. Poor design

    2/5
Cleans well and looks pretty smart but. Small inside compared to the trusty old Bosch it replaced. The cage isn’t of the best design. Also you would think it would be the same colour as my Samsung washing machine and Samsung fridge I own. But it’s totally different. The cycles are random. 1 hour express or 3:15 for the eco mode. Seems a bit long to me

    Some major frustrations!

    2/5
Can't believe there are no more balanced reviews of this dishwasher on AO and everyone seems to love it. I find it to have plenty of issues, so many I felt compelled to write a review! We had a Samsung fridge, so when getting a new dishwasher, thought we'd tie it in. It does look good, which was a major factor in our choice. We'd seen some negative reviews on another website, but thought, it's a dishwasher, how bad can it be?... First of all, upon installing it, the inlet hose has a chunky anti-drip valve on the end, meaning the end of the pipe is inflexible for approx 10cm. It's large, so if you have a small hole to fit it through, you may have to enlarge it. With our plumbing, when fitted this meant it stuck out and stopped the dishwasher from being pushed back fully. You may have more luck, but I had to order an extension hose just so that I could get the dishwasher to sit where it should. Frustrating, but I could live with that if it was a top class dishwasher, but it has plenty of flaws. The shape of the top drawer is odd with prongs in weird places, so you can't make the best use of the space. It won't adequately support tall glasses. There is a wine glass attachment but it is fiddly as it only has a few set notches - not like others that just let you place them wherever suits. Some reviews elsewhere talk about how you can't fit in dinner plates below - this isn't true, you just need to adjust the top shelf, which to be fair to Samsung is ridiculously easy. So easy in fact, that the mechanism makes the whole upper shelf flimsy and it wobbles sideways as you pull it in and out! I've never had these issues with other dishwashers I've used, be them German ones or budget ones. Like I say, it looks good, and works OK, but it's hard to believe Samsung got so many of the small details so wrong.
