This is the second dryer we have had the first one had a fault with the heat pump after just a month! Samsung wouldn't replace the machine only repair it there was no way I wanted a repaired machine costing nearly £700 .AO we're fantastic they said they would replace the machine free of charge I really can't fault AO. Samsung are a dreadful company to deal with I should have learnt from previous dealings with Samsung and bought from a different company. Save yourself some grief and buy a different brand.

This is our 2nd attempt at having a new Samsung washing machine and have had the same issue of not draining on 1st attempt at using it.

It's great that this dryer includes a drain connection so that we don't have to manually empty it. The light inside that comes on when opening the door is a great touch to see what you're doing. The filter is very easy to change. The touch-activated buttons are a bit of an unnecessary gimmick. I'd prefer normal buttons that give tactile feedback. I have no use for the wifi connection either. Who needs an app for a tumble dryer? Just another thing to go wrong and a possible vector for compromised security. I've found that things aren't entirely dry after a completed cycle, even after 3 hours from a load that had a full spin in the washing machine. Perhaps I need to play around more with the settings, but I'd have thought it would be simpler. The machine seems to know when a load is already mostly dry as it reduces the cycle time automatically, so it should know when the load is still damp. Maybe I'm expecting too much.

It’s efficient, but the sensor drier system isn’t as sensitive as it could be: BOSCH system is more effective. Desperately needs to have reverse rotation system, particularly for drying bedding….. it all rolls together into a ball - double duvet in drier without anything else and then the middle of the huddle doesn’t dry!!!!

Great looking product and great energy rating. It may be me fumbling to work out how to use my first heat exchange dryer, but so far I’m struggling to get clothes dry! A load of cotton/linen some dry others not. A large faux fur blanket requiring a 3 hour cycle also came out damp (and quite a bit of condensation inside the dryer). So, initial impression is not great for a pretty expensive dryer. Also, AO advertised with a 5 year guarantee to be claimed via Samsung website - when I looked, after buying, the offer expired last year!

Loved this drier until it developed a fault after only 2 months. My last drier lasted over 10 years without an issue. So disappointed as the reviews were great and it’s an expensive drier. Now back to hanging my clothes around the house until I can get an engineer out!

Still getting use to having a tumble dryer again But although I love the look and the energy rating of this Samsung there are no programme details on how to use the machine and this is something it definitely needs. And because this is a relatively new product there are no videos available on what to do!
