Looking at what's inside you will be fairly disappointed to spend so much on what is a simple design (fan, motor.... that's it). But then that seems to be the same for other brands too. I used to have a basic bottom of the range cooker hood. Cooking steak would set off the smoke alarm and boiling a pan would cause the kitchen window to steam up. This one is notably more powerful then my old one. I've cooked steak twice so far with no alarms and my kitchen window hasn't been steaming up as much.

The fun is not as strong as I expected . It is quite noisy as well

I paid extra to get a Bosch product but it’s no better than the competition in terms of quality. If anything, even on number 1 the fan is too forceful and too loud. I’d recommend buyers to look elsewhere

Absolutely love my new cooker hood - looks nice and sleek and modern - easy to clean in the dishwasher with the removable grease fittings - and yes, it might be a little noisy on the third setting - but it does the job well!

had this for a couple of years now, so well tried and tested--- Nice looking and well designed, but one major failing-- The noise levels, particularly on full power, ( like having a jet engine in the kitchen ). As a lifelong user of bosch products, I have been very disappointed in this particular model. I am seriously considering replacing it with another make, I am very disappointed with bosch on this occasion.

Does the job nicely and not too expensive ,matched the hob top well and brighter lighting than the old model

This extractor fan can be connected by plastic pipes so that the air is taken out of the kitchen. Much better than recirculating. This means you don’t need the charcoal filter replacing every 6 months. Excellent bosh quality. The lights are good and bright too. Super delivery by AO as always. Reliable & great price. Very happy thank you.
