    Good value for money

    5/5
We bought this to replace our oven that was broken...was a little concered as it came with legs but the other companys didn't show it with them..so rang up customer services to ask if they can be taken off. ..they was great...so friendy and help with our enquiry and found out for us that they can be removed. And when the cooker showed up it was just the case of un-screwing them like they advised us. The cooker itself is great...warms up quickly, grill is great to and cooks well!!! Didnt relise how bad my other one was till I changed it!! Ony 1 negative is the grill pan is very small, we are a big family of 7 in total, but cooking bacon you would only fit enough on there to do 1 sandwich at a time. Lucky enough I kept my old one and was able to use that in the new oven so that was that issue sorted.

Very happy with this Hotpoint (product which is very similar to my previous Indesit oven) and is adequate for my needs. Straightforward and very easy to use and excellent value for money.

    Fabulous

Finally gave up repairing my 13 year old Indesit oven and this was the only oven I found with feet to replace it. Not used to it 100pct yet as have been using my old top oven, which wasn't ideal. Delivered as promised, kept up to date throughout and friendly delivery man placed it in my kitchen. Oven seems good, looks fantastic and fits perfectly. Only niggle is the chunky knobs make it a little difficult to see the temperature selected and wish they were more flush but just a minor point. Just got to keep this one clean!

    Not fit for purpose

    1/5
Oven was returned as faulty. The only way I could cook in the main oven was to have it on maximum temperature and even then took twice as long to cook. I say cook in the loosest possible term as in reality some of the food was burnt on top but uncooked in the middle and the rest was soggy so if you like crispy roast potatoes you definitely won’t get them. So much steam came out of the oven that the top oven had pools of water in it. The grill stopped working after about 8 minutes which I’ve read is a safety feature & won’t come back on until it has cooled down but I know know how anyone is supposed to grill a large chop in 8 minutes! And has to be without doubt the most frustrating way to cook! The energy efficiency is useless as you can only cook on max temperature and takes twice as long to cook anything. It also cooked unevenly. The grill pan is very small which seems ridiculous when they could’ve had one to fit the grill space. The overall look of the oven is quite chunky & the handles are very big and stick out a lot so my cupboards next to it hit the handles when you open them so have to be careful you don’t end up with a dent in your cupboard door. All in all would definitely not recommend buying this oven
