Brilliant replacement for my old double oven

Hoping this is a bit better than the last one. Previous version of the same model had a real issue with the fitment of the grill element which is not secured but simply rests on a ledge either side. We found after time that the element slipped off its perch and then started to drop. Hotpoint told us they had no other complaints of this nature so we assumed we had a Friday afternoon cooker. I had to replace three elements in 7 years which was a pain but when we came to replace our old one recently there was nothing else comparable for size and price.

Easy to use. Oven is a perfect temperature. Grill heats quickly. Over all very good value for money and replaced an existing Hotpoint which was over 30 years old.

Not very happy with DD2540WH oven. We purchased this oven and it worked for a year then the main oven fan broke. I thought that this was so unreliable that I would purchase a second new oven. However a lot of the Hotpoint / Indesit seem to share the same spares so I was not surprised when I had to replace 4 oven heating elements in 3 years. Hotpoint / Indesit / Whirlpool should be required to publish mean time between failure figures for there appliances!

Had a very good buying experience with ao Kept well informed of my order and its progress for arrival. Can’t fault the experience especially the delivery team being very help. The Hotpoint double oven purchased replaced a like for like which had lasted about 25 years, just hope this new does the same.

Oven looks great, a bit concerned that the housing tower gets incredibly hot when the main oven is running, didn't happen with our previous oven

It works and is quiet.
