I am very impressed with the Smeg C010CF small chest freezer. It is spacious although the motor does occupy a portion of the base but only for a few inches in height, leaving room for bags o frozen veg or trays of meal prep. The inside is an attractive bumpy silver material which should last well with little signs of ageing as opposed to white plastic which I was expecting. There is a basket which rests neatly in the top of the freezer and can be slid across to access items although I find it easier to remove it. The control is a simple dial with separate coloured indicators for on and fast freeze. It is tricky to know how far to turn the dial as there is no temperature indicator so it is trial and error. The handles for opening the lid are at the side and the lid opens easily. It’s also not noisy when running which is a bonus.

Tidy little freezer, low noise, handy basket which slides from side to side to allow access to bottom of chest. Friendly and efficient delivery Top marks.

Large enough for my needs, smart looking, a little noisy when first started but has settled down now.

This product is ideal for keeping food items frozen but to a certain temperature. Also for value wise it’s good would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Excellent little freezer, very quiet and blends in well where it kept indoors. Only negative point is that the factory fits a European 2 pin moulded plug and in the UK it is supplied with a rather big 2 to 3 pin adapter which takes up extra room behind the freezer. The result is overall depth is increased by about 2 inches (5 cm) and the freezer protrudes out more than it would have. Not a big deal but disappointing nevertheless. Would have given it 5 stars but the plug contraption is annoying.
