    Looks great but..........

    1/5
This extractor doesn’t have any external controls. To cut a very long story short. We had the Elica Cloud Seven delivered by AO at the start of our building and new kitchen project. We needed it early so the joiner could construct a box to fit it in. At the point of fitting, we didn’t have a remote (11th Oct), and when that arrived, the extractor worked but the lights didn’t. We contacted Elica and an engineer was called, he arrived 10th Nov. Couldn’t fix fault -ordered parts. 14th Dec, Elica engineer came with new parts- appliance shorted and a new appliance was eventually ordered. Because AO insisted that the old appliance was collected on the same day the new one was delivered, we had to have the electrical engineers twice (a 2-person job). Cheapest Quote £300. Elica offered to pay £192 towards it. The first appliance never fully worked. So, we are left £108 out of pocket and with a guarantee for only 9 months. AO said we could have a 1year guarantee if we chose a different model- which would mean altering the box! Replacement working, but extractor works only very low or very high, and lights only have one level even though remote indicates differently!

    Decent product

Good looking hood. I made up a frame in the top of the hood and fixed it to joists by the frame. Easy to connect a duct to.

    Almost 5 Stars

    4/5
Definitely worth considering. Looks great and the extraction is highly effective, with a nice range of settings. I built a frame to sit the unit in as I didn't have enough space in the existing ceiling. My only gripe is that the brackets which hold the unit up are very narrow and I can't say they fill me with confidence given that they are holding over 20kg overhead. In saying that it does all seem securely in place now it is up and meant the unit slots easily into position. My other minor issue is that the atmospheric/mood lighting setting doesn't seem to work but there is no problem with the main lighting setting and TBH that's all I would use anyway. The remote is very smart in appearance too and the dual functions of the buttons (most can be pressed briefly or held for 2secs for a different action) work well.

Good Product but Open and battered boxing on arrival

    3/5
Nice product, however item boxing was a bit beaten up and open on arrival. Considering the price paid, better was expected.

    Ceiling extractor fan

    5/5
Great product. Due to having a steel frame house we couldn’t get it into the ceiling. Our builder made up a frame which it sat it. Works really well, easy to control and a great price, plus also energy efficient. AO as usual were excellent and we had it delivered within a couple of days. We have bought several products through AO and have been delighted with all the purchases. I would definitely recommend.

    So far so good

    4/5
We have only used this a couple of times and it seems to be working as it should. It is quite noisy and the remote control doesn't always work the first time but overall it is good.

Who said cooker hoods can't be sexy?

    5/5
Sleek, quiet, good energy rating and easy to clean plus a remote control which is simple to get to grips with.
