5 star rating for this AEG induction cooker

    5/5
So far, this is proving to be an excellent product as we move from gas to electricty supported by 24 solar panels and battery storage.

    AEG cooker

Very pleased with this cooker. Amazed at how quickly a pan boils compared to our previous gas hob. Haven’t investigated many settings yet but has plenty to choose from.

A very functional oven with a very fast induction hob

    4/5
Very impressed with the hob part of this, gets pans to temperature blisteringly fast and also gets things simmering away very steadily, with barely any adjustment needed. The steam oven functionality is a nice touch, although it can be a bit hard to top up the water levels for the steam as there's an indent that you want to pour into, which involves reaching inside the oven itself. It also only comes with one set of telescopic runners, which, although very handy, would be much nicer if you could attach them throughout the lower oven. The racks move pretty easily and don't feel like they're going to drop your food everywhere, but can feel a bit rough scraping against their supports (and can make quite a loud noise, which I'm sure will go away with more use). The knobs feel incredibly cheap and plasticky, and as you turn them they sometimes slightly stick in a position (which felt at first like it might be intentional for getting to some sort of midpoint, but it was happening at pretty random places on each knob). The actual cooking in the ovens is great, mostly pretty even, and the grill functionality has also been perfectly adequate. I feel like it would be better if the top oven had a fan also, but that's more of just a preference thing.

    Very pleased!

    5/5
Bought this to replace a Stoves Richmond 600Ei that had developed three different faults in less than 18 months (not from AO). Great hob. Heats quickly and instant control with knobs - much easier than touch controls on other induction hobs. Huge ovens with variety of options for different cooking methods. Only minor criticism is that the oven fans stays on for ages when the oven is off - but I guess that’s testimony to the insulation of the oven!

    Black looks great!

    5/5
Great product, works well easy ordering, delivery and installation by the AO team. Would definitely advise to order just ensure that you have the correct pans to use for the induction cooker.

    Love it!

This is our second induction cooker. We absolutely love it. This model is an improved version of the last one. It cooks perfectly, bakes a perfect loaf and looks really good too.

    The missing information you need.

    3/5
It's OK. The induction hob is very responsive. The oven does many things, if you like that sort of thing. The hob is super easy to clean, but the knobs are not so easy. My huge gripe is that the oven does not come with a connecting cable - you have to buy one separately. A fact you discover when reading the manual. You will also need a very funny shaped screwdriver - one with a small triangular end. Of course, it's better to have it installed. But you can't if your plug points are too close. Far more important to not break the new building regulations! Much better to install it yourself. Not.
