Very easy to use. The only thing you need to remember is to switch the appliance on about 3-4 mins earlier than you would with a gas hob, it needs this time to reach temperature. It is very easy to control, have found it much better than gas, no more boiling over. Easy to clean.

Heats up quickly, looks good and the switch on/switch off features are cool (and I'm not that big of a nerd). Handy feature to lock the controls. Will switch off after 1 hour if you don't change any settings (not great for stews, soups, etc), but all in all, very, very good. Only real gripe is that it's really hard to clean - lots of cleaners available, but never looks as good as when it's new.

As my last hob was gas this is absolutely brilliant to clean with a quick wipe over with a cloth and it lets you know when it has cooled down enough to clean.It also looks smart and and the touch control buttons are easy to use. The only downside is its not as quick to lower the temperature as gas when cooking.

This is a top notch product, far and away the best we've had. Must correct a couple of points mentioned by others. 1. Auto switch-off (safety feature). Switch off after 60mins only on the topmost heat settings, the time to auto switch off increases as the heat settings are reduced down to 6hours for the lowest settings. No problems then for soups, casseroles etc. 2. The flashing "S" is probably error 5! Means you've left you finger too long on the touch controls! If all else fails read the manual! In use, heat up time is very fast, 9 heat settings, easy clean, what more is there to say? Just lots of pros, no cons.

This hob is great value for money and is so easy to use. It's a joy to cook with. I would definitely recommend this one if someone was looking to buy a ceramic hob.
