I was intrigued by this product when I spoke to the customer service advisor so I had one installed. As it sits on the water pipe I cannot tell if it works or not but for the cost it's well worth the try if it keeps the washer i good condition.

Very surprised by this little device, we live in a hard water area and since this has been installed with our new washing machine have noticed there is no limescale deposit in the machine.

Was very easy to fit and seems to work - the real value of these items is only found after years of use though. From initial experience it does seem to leave fewer streaks, but this might be down to the dishwasher itself.
