I ordered this to go with my new washer/dryer because our area has very hard water. I do believe it works because I have noticed that I need to use less washing liquid, and my clothes feel slightly softer when they come out of the machine.

Great product fits in my tiny kitchen, but when it's spinning it's so loud like disturbing loud I've ordered a shock mat to help which should do the trick.
