    Don’t buy a belling oven.

    1/5
Don’t buy this oven , bought one 2 years ago broke after a year , payed for a repair and then broke again a year later. Broke 2 weeks before Christmas , couldn’t get it repaired so unfortunately had to buy a new one for Christmas, £705 plus £150 fitted . 4 weeks later broke again. Would not of bought this oven again but it was the only one that would fit. Same part broken again after 4 weeks. Have to wait for a repair. The top oven smells really bad when on and the doors on oven let’s out so much heat the food takes ages to cook . Had two now . Please please don’t buy this oven. They have so many bad reviews , even repairing the oven.

Where do I start the hob with fitted fine and so was the oven come to test kept tripping out was informed by the gas fitter it was 100% my over sensitive fuse box not the appliance because are checked was informed I would need electrician I got one at the cost of £100 and absolutely no faults with my electric supply and no problems what's so ever with the fuse box second one fitted fine very apologetic but I'm still £100 down
    Not so happy

    Nothing efficient about it!!!

The front vent (which is not mentioned in the spec) let's out so much heat and odour that it is impossible to stand at the hob and cook at same time. The odour and heat so ?? that we have to have all kitchen windows open. Nothing efficient about this oven. To not be able to use hob at same time is ridiculous but to have to have windows open evey time we cook is beyond ridiculous especially considering living crisis and energy price situation. 0 for efficiency. Oh but if you're looking for something that looks better than it is efficient, then it ticks the box.

    Bad vent design

    2/5
Top oven works great, although there's not much space in there. Bottom oven blows out far too much heat through the vent in between the ovens - if you stand in front of it, it burns your legs! It seems to take twice as long to cook anything in the bottom oven than it did with my old oven, and you can't tell when it is up to temperature as the fan is quite noisy. Grill pan has rough edges underneath and so does not run along the shelf runners smoothly. Also there is no handle for the grill pan.

Smart Looking Stainless Steel Gas Oven

    4/5
I bought this to replace a similar Belling Cooker which couldn't be repaired due to an obsolete part. Was happy the dimensions were exactly the same and installation (swapping for the old one) was straightforward. Looks sleek and smart, and I was pleased to be able to buy a British product with, hopefully, a lower carbon footprint than other imported models.
