Received my new ceramic hob promptly, it was fitted and working within minutes. A very positive and pleasant shopping experience.

Bought this as a replacement for our broken one. Wanted something simple to operate. Checked out all the reviews and decided to order it. Looks really good, not tried it yet as the water tight gasket seal is missing. Contacted AO and they were very helpful, have to wait for the part to be delivered. Hopefully here next week ????

Quality product at a reasonable price

Hob No Good heating element does not match up with cooking circle,completely out of alignment. Very disappointed,having had kitchen disrupted and the qualified electrician very kindly spent evening taking broken one out and replacing it .with this hob which couldn’t have passed quality control waste of time disruption and money Rating Nil zenna isherwood

It was chosen to replace an earlier Baumatic hob about 14 years old. It is about 2 cm larger all round so required that amount cut off an existing hole which left no space to fit the fixing clips. However they bore little relationship to the fitting instructions which were of little use. Consequently the hob is held down by its own weight and friction; so far satisfactorily. The fixing clips supplied could not be used. It is superior to its predecessor, easier to read and works well. The chef is very happy with it.

This was bought as a direct replacement for an existing Baumatic BHC605, as a result of accidental damage. The replacement looks good, and is easy to use. The only additional comment I would offer is the larger diameter rings are positioned at the back of the unit, whereas on its predecessor they were at the front.
