Always had a gas cooker but wanted an induction hob so went for an electric cooker. Took a day or 2 to judge the heat variations but now O.K., only had 2 overspills when boiling the potatoes. Cooking times are so much quicker and cleaning is practically non existent compared to the gas, just a quick wipe over of the hob and done. I've not had to clean the ovens so far (double oven cooker) but all I have to do is put some water in the pan, put it in the bottom oven, turn on and it steam cleans the over, then just wipe with a cloth. I am 73 years old and this is making my life so much easier, I would recommend this oven to anyone. It also looks great in my kitchen.
