    So far so bad

    1/5
So far I've had two of these machines delivered and they keep making a horrendous banging noise when the dryer drum rotates. Asked the last delivery person to check it and he told me it's because the legs are not level which they are! Now waiting to get hold of an engineer. It's been a month now and I still haven't got a working machine. I know it's the machine because my parents bought the same one at the same time and we've installed it in exactly the same way.

    Horrible

Shocking, causing condensation In the neighbouring units. Hoover have been out and said it’s the ventilation even though I have a vent on it. I’m convinced the seal has gone on the door, it gets quite hot but no one is interested not even AO . Saying I have to have the door open to use it. I’m disgusted in the service from both companies and will be taking this further .

Great Dryer, Terrible Build Quality and Design

    3/5
We’re now on out 3rd one of these. The first had a broken heat sensor, so it never switched off and the clothes came out molten - I would never recommend leaving these machines on at night or when you go out. The second sounded like a it had a pair of trainers kicking around in it. The third seems to be okay and has an updated display, so perhaps this is a revised model? The tumble dryer has a lot of pluses and is replacing a ventilated White Knight work horse of a dryer, that was just brilliant. The good, is it dries clothes well and it’s easy to enter the water container. It does sweat though and leaves the insides of your cabinets a little damp but it’s not too bad. The integrated aspects are however very poor. Hoover/Candy/Beaumatic (they’re all the same company) have taken their standard dryers and reduced the width but forgot about attaching the cupboard door. Their solution is to add some huge blocks that are impossible to fix fully, and with screw holes in the machine that don’t line up with the casing. Our door now flops around a little as a result. The instructions are also really poor, with poor descriptions and illustrations that don’t match the text, as well as important information in illustration captions rather than the instruction text and are therefore easy to miss. Considering the choices for an integrated dryer are limited to this model and slight variations of it, this is still a good dryer but the design and build quality let it down badly - whether this is on Hoover’s side or AO not treating the machines with respect in the warehouse or delivery. The machines are not cheap either, so I hope this is our 3rd and final dryer and that it doesn’t break within a time reasonable under consumer law.

    Great choice

    5/5
This tumble dryer is excellent. Used for about a month now and love it. Had a white knight integrated vented model previously which was great but after 2 year hard use it broke, this is proving to be worthy replacement. It’s quieter than my previous white knight model, which isn’t to say it’s a silent machine but it’s more than manageable can still hear the tv whilst it’s on :-) size wise fit perfect into previous space it’s a couple of centimetres taller than white knight model. Filter is easy to remove and the water tank in the door is easy to remove and replace looks a little weird at first when you see it fill up through the door but drys the clothes which is the main thing. Lots of settings with different drying times and dampness settings find the mix and dry setting to give me the best results smart meter is broken so can’t tell if it runs cheaper than the previous model which was an old c rating but hopefully it is. All in all very good machine would recommend if like me you where struggling to decide between the 3 integrated tumble dryer choices you have :-)

    Broke after 1.5 years

I bought this product 1.5 years ago. It no longer dries the clothes / collects water Customer service from the manufacturer was very poor and now having to look to pay for the repairs ourselves After such a short period of time, you would expect these things to be covered

    Rubbish! Buy a Beko instead

We've had this tumble drier for a little over a year now and chose it for its energy efficiency credentials. In all honesty it's actually less efficient because the washing is rarely dry after a full cycle (and I'm not overloading it!) and the clothes come out SO creased resulting in far more ironing than I'd like to be doing. To top it off it's just started showing an error code and guess what - we're out of warranty. I wish I'd not bothered with an integrated tumble drier and stuck with my trusty Beko!

    Not good

Purchased this dryer to replace my old vented Baumatic dryer which has now been discontinued, there is very little choice when purchasing an integrated tumble dryer. They are all heat pumps. I think it’s dreadful, takes forever to dry no matter what setting you use. frankly I wish I’d never bought it, If I’d realised how bad it was I would’ve purchased a normal dryer and put it in my garage.
