Poorly made door doesn't sit straight

    1/5
On our second one, door sits squint, hangs further down on the left hand side, replacement one is the same and it's the first thing you see when you walk in the new kitchen. Waiting for a call back again.

AO customer service is a joke

    1/5
The microwave I bought from AO had a fault but trying to get any meaningful dialogue with AO is pitiful. They direct you to the manufacturer's support system which is hit and miss at best. Go to other retailers if you have a choice especially a high street shop where you get far better customer support.

    Poor aesthetic quality

    2/5
Less than 12 months old and the thinly silver paint covered door push button has worn through to show the black plastic base colour.. Looks shabby and takes away the wow factor of kitchen.. Whirlpool not interested after sale as per usual. Expensive lesson learnt!! Avoid and buy a quality brand..

    Replacement of 2006 Whirlpool Microwave

    3/5
This is the updated version of the model purchased in 2006 which has given excellent service. Its OK, looks very nice and sleek but unfortunately, the mounting method has been changed (no doubt to reduce cost) to two flimsy brackets riveted on either side of the body. The left one (door hinge side) was not fitted correctly so the only way it could be mounted was to release it from the top rivet (very easily done I might add) and mount using the bottom screw only. Also, this new version does not have a stainless steel surround like the old model. this is fine if the microwave is being mounted flush (with adjoining units / cupboard doors either side) but as in this case, is mounted on the end of a run of units without an end panel making the door hinge and bracket on clear view. The whole front panel is now the door which adds another 100mm to the door when opened, and in a galley kitchen, it's not ideal either. yet another product cheapened off, I would have much preferred to have paid a bit more and had the same quality mounting system as 12 years ago. These are only observations which I suppose highlights the downside of buying online. Too much hassle to return it now.

Very shallow microwave. Looks very nice and well designed to be fitted in.

Great built in microwave and chosen because it’s only the depth of a wall cupboard. Not many options for this size microwave.

    Good solid fitted microwave/grill

    4/5
It fits in wall cupboard lovely and looks very professional. It also seems to heat food very evenly. The user manual is also very simply to follow and user friendly. Good product, would recommend.

Perfect for shallow depth wall unit

    4/5
This is the ONLY integrated microwave that would fit in my 320mm deep wall unit! I wish I had been advised about this by my kitchen designer, but then I have a very narrow Galley kitchen. Lightweight and easy to install; only negative is that there is no handle but some people might like that. Otherwise, the best looking small, perfectly fitting, integrate microwave I could buy for my money!
