Buy something else, this Oven is dangerous to use!

    1/5
Had this oven for 5 months. Within the first month, the grill blew the earthing cable out of its connection point within the oven, when turned on for the first time, which very nearly gave me a nasty shock. Warranty took 2 months to attend on which the engineer (3rd party contractor) stated that he had never seen the brand and that the wiring was of very poor quality, was unable to fix but made safe. Oven door does not close fully and shockingly it will repeatedly open when in use which, has made the oven dangerous if you have children or pets. overall this is a very poor quality oven, which is not safe for use. Warranty service is poor and that is if you can get through, for instance, there is 1 'Amica' engineer for the entirety of Scotland. One star as it at least turns on and the hob works.

I Do Not Recommend This Product.

    2/5
Avoid purchasing this product! I bought this cooker in March (2023), and after a few weeks of light use, the oven blew and expanded. The insulation cotton started to come out of the cracks and the seal was loose. The door wouldn’t shut properly either. . To be fair, until it blew, the cooker was pretty decent. It cooks food evenly and the fan assisted feature is good. The product is a nice design and looks very smart and modern. . However…. The rigmarole of trying to get the product returned/exchanged has been pretty frustrating. I would say it’s definitely not worth the money or the risk, buy a more reputable brand if you can. I’ve opted to return this and upgraded to a better brand. Some of the reviews I’ve seen on this product, across the internet have been similar to mine!

    Cheap for a reaosn

    2/5
Cheap for a reason. The cooker looks decent enough, but the oven door is cheap and poorly fitting. The catches top and bottom, are a couple of bent metal tags, that are supposed to locate onto a couple of ball bearings. They barely locate and tend to favour one, so the bottom one will locate, then the top is barely held for example. I have never seen such a poor design or action on a cooker. Luckily, its a stop gap cooker, otherwise I would try to reject it.

Door doesn't open wide enough when fitted

Can't open the door fully to get the shelfs out unless you pull the hole cooker out

Good if it worked out of the box correctly

Small compact cooker that if it's built correctly or not damaged does the job. Got the item installed a day later by a qualified electrician, after one use the back right HOB burnt underneath it leaving a scorch mark, this is down to conedensation getting underneath the hob itself ( So not sealed ) Then the oven door wont close correctly so the thermostat light is on constantly heating up untill you press the door inwards a little. The build quality is definetly lacking and after one day i wish i had spent a little more and gone for a well known brand in the Market. I have tried to contact AO to no avail and i dont think they would be bothered anyway would just say contact the manufacturer. I did contact CDA/AMICA and informed them i had to take a picture and send it to there email along with an invoice of proof of purchase now im awaiting back an engineer to see if they can do anything about it however im highly guessing they will say there is nothing wrong with the product but after using electric for so many years i believe it to be cheap and you can tell! On the pro side it does heat up very quickly which i suppose is something to shout about?
