    Top product

    5/5
I have bought some inappropriate gifts for my Wifes birthday in the past, and this year when she said she would like a food processor I was to say the least, a little scared as to what the reaction would be to the kitchen aid processor. I needn't have worried. Sleek design, robust buttons and extremely quiet in operation. Great product and no black eyes for me!

Beautiful gadgetry from Kitchenaid as usual.

The processor is incredible. It has the high quality that you associate with Kitchenaid and is super easy to use easy to clean.... Which means that using it isn’t a chore. It is big enough to make a decent amount of food, so you won’t have to make multiples. I will never buy humous again, that’s for sure. It has 3 speed settings, the fastest of which doubles as a pulse button. It has the usual removable section in the top to allow you to put in things as it’s chopping or grating and even that has a smaller section you can remove if you only want to add something skinny like celery. The smaller section is hollow (like a cup) and has a small hole in the bottom to allow the slow gradual adding of liquid like oils ( I suppose there’s no excuse for not making my own mayonnaise now..) When not in use all of the accessories fit inside the main compartment and the cord winds away so you can store it quickly and easily should you want to. I keep mine out on the side, it’s matte black and looks great, so I have it on show! It’s got a small footprint for a processor (it takes up about the same space as a blender) so not like the massive processors I grew up with in the 90’s. Overall, it’s an amazingly beautiful piece of kitchen gadgetry that does multiple jobs (chop, slice, grate, shred, mix dough) and it’s a really reasonable price too. To be honest , with electrical items, you get what you pay for most of the time. This is a nice surprise because you get more than you pay for. Get one, you won’t regret it.

Not as good as I 1st thought

I loved this product till I discovered a couple of design flaws.Firstly when you open the lid the feed tube falls out and secondly if you knock the lid while scraping the bowl down it falls easily and as mine did cracked on a tiled floor.I have searched for a replacement lid but can't find one.No joy by emailing Kichen aid either.

Does what it says on the tin

It is exactly what is to be expected with KitchenAid, it is well built and the design is thought through, which is great for storage. It is the right size when cooking for 2-4 people, for more than that you would want larger. The Dough blade only does up to 300g of flour, so again useful when you are dealing with small batches. But as we are a family of 2, for now this is perfect.

    Processor

Used it 3 times now, mixed, chopped and grated brilliantly. Smaller than my previous processor but still excellent for all my needs. Highly recommended.
