We have an incontinent old dog and our carpets were getting a real hammering. I read lots of reviews before settling on the Bissell Pet pro. I am so pleased I did, even though it was a little more expensive, it was definitely worth it. It's so easy to fill, easy to use, and easy to clean. It's fairly heavy but nothing too awful as you are making slow passes over the carpet to allow it to clean. Then slow passes to allow it to suck up the water again. The dirty water tank has a float which cuts of water output so you can't overfill the dirty water tank. It's really easy to detach, empty and fit back on the machine. When it came to cleaning the machine after use, it was really simple and easy as most parts came off so could be easily rinsed. The brushes didn't get too tangled and were easy to clear of any hair. The handy tool that comes in the pack made it simple to unclog the nozzle so I didn't have to stop and do any lengthy cleaning until I'd finished completely. Lots of accessories to do stairs, small accidents, etc. I highly recommend to anyone with pets.

This is the second Bissell carpet cleaner we have had, the last one lasted about 12 years, and this new one is so much better. The design engineers ought to be congratulated on a superb design. Filling it for use is clean and easy, the collection tank (dirty water) is easily removed and emptied, and when your finished the rotating brush mechanism is very cleverly made to come apart for removal of fluff, fur, hair that enevitably gets wrapped around the brushes. Only two minor criticisms, the fill tank screw cap lid would be better if it had a retaining strap so that you can’t loose it and add a few quid to the price a fit rubberised flex cable instead of the cheap pvc stuff that takes a set curl. It cleans carpet good too!

Decided that I needed to replace my old and tired carpet cleaner with something a little more up to date, hopefully with new improved technology as my previously, substantially cheaper carpet cleaner had started to spring leaks. I'm glad that I did. It turned up exactly when expected but oddly only had two cleaning solutions rather than the three mentioned in the instructions. Having said that, the two included were more than enough to put it through its paces. Trying first on my hall carpet which is fairly short and is light coloured, figuring it would be about the best test since it's probably seen the most traffic, it removed stains that had been ingrained for longer than I'm comfortable admitting ! The double brushbar made quick work of it, though it did use rather more of the cleaning solution that I was expecting, perhaps that's more to do with my overuse rather than anything else. I'd rather get impressive results than save a bit of cleaner anyway. I followed the hall up by doing the stairs and landing, and wow! looks as though the carpet has only been down a few weeks rather than 10 years, it brought the pile up and removed all stains beautifully. I used the extension hose and the respective tools where necessary and whilst they seem to leave the carpet slightly more damp than the main vacuum part, the results were every bit as impressive. Totally worth every penny !

Already used it. Cleaned two bedroom carpets which a very pale cream. Now look new again. I would recommend it.

I found this easy to use and it did not take me long to clean a carpet I was so impressed I phoned my daughter and said how pleases I was she how wants to borrow it to do her carpet I would recommend this to anyone thinking of buying one it was so easy to clean the machine after

Having previously used a Bissell carpet cleaner that has a few niggles I must say this new machine has good design improvements, it is lighter, has all the electronic parts well away from the wet carpet, and it is so easy to fill the water container and empty dirty water. Used over multiple rooms and carpet looks great and dries quickly.

I thought my living room rug was clean - i hoovered it all the time - I was shocked at how much dirt the Bissell extracted! I instantly used it all round my house!! Really impressed with how well it gets out ingrained dirt.

Along with doing a fantastic job of cleaning the carpets, it also brings carpets back to life. Raises the pile of the carpet, ideal if your carpet has flattened over time. Its only 2 months ago, since I hired a company to clean our lounge carpet. Re cleaned today with the Bissell Revolution 2 and the water was filthy. Haven't tried upholstery yet, but have high hopes.
