    After a week, the machine seems well made and washes well. I'm comparing it with our previous 12 yr old LG machine and 2 things aren't as good. 1. The water drainage at the bottom is not as good. After using the rubber pipe to drain, there is a lot of water left when the main 'stopper' is unscrewed. I used to drain the LG once a week, but this means I won't do the Bosch as often. 2. The control panel isn't as flexible - no Favourite button, and I can't set my own dry time length within a program.

    After using this machine for a short time we are very impressed with its performance. Running similar cycles to our old machine it is much quicker and quieter. The drying cycle is excellent with the load evenly dried and ready to iron or hang as required. It is sleek and its design compliments our other Bosch appliances. The control is by touch screen buttons with are responsive and the options are very comprehensive. So far we have not come across any problems - long may this continue.

    Really nice unit with a large capacity and a 5-year Bosch warranty (make sure to register when you receive it!). Seems to run quietly so far. I can't really get excited about a washer, so not sure what else to say!
