Excellent dryer let down by its appearance

Bought this to replace an ageing Miele condenser that was making terrible noises. There's lots to recommend about it, and it feels overall like an upgrade.
The good:
- Excellent drying performance. It's so much better than the Miele. I can see why it's currently Which's top-rated dryer
- Very low noise, especially in the 'silent' setting. This is a big deal for us
- Simple to programme
The bad:
- The finish is really plasticky and looks a bit cheap. I'd rather have paid a bit more for something that looks premium. A bit of a shame for a product from AEG.
