Sleek and powerful
4/5
Going from an electric hob to an induction is certainly well worth it, much more precise control over the heat and love the rapid pot power, brings the water to boil in seconds ! Only draw back is you can only use the Pot Boost function on only one plate at a time, I guess this is just a limitation due to the wattage ? So far, we are more than impressed with it, it does tend to scratch easily though but our last Neff electric hob was pretty much the same. We will just have to be extra careful with it. The WiFi feature is just a gimmick really , you don’t need it, you can control it all with an app and it’s quite good to control the individual plates , the hob’s twist touch control is pretty good and fairly responsive, although it would have been nice to have some numbers next to it , you control 1 plate at a time. You can join the two left plates up to become one large one which it awesome, we are hoping to get an induction griddle plate which we’ve seen so hopefully that will work ok.?
Overall impressions, not too bad, if connecting to your phone for the first time, it does what all modern things do now and wants to do a software update to the hob, on first attempt it looked like it froze up half way and then on stopped responding, had to give it a good 15 mins to update, perhaps it was a network issue ? Seems ok now 2 weeks on. Fingers crossed.
