Damaged after first use. Used pans suitable for induction hobs but as there was an aluminium coating Smeg refused to help saying pans must be 100% iron. They offered to send out their engineer to replace and charge me for parts and labour. Steer clear from this hob. I wish I could show you pictures of the burning and discoloration after one use
