The reason I've gave this item a three star is because I haven't got around to using it , its been out the box and been inspected so far every thing is there and looks value for the money and so a good beginner's kitchen hand mixer.

Good selection of speeds and I like the way it stands securely on its end. Would prefer the speed selection switch to be along he body rather than across it for easier operation but not really a big deal. However the mixer makes a disconcerting 'clonk' when you turn it on or off which is off-putting. I'm hoping it doesn't mean it won't last.

Perfect replacement for my previous overworked hand mixer.
