New AEG washer dryer

So far so good. Some of the washing programs a quite long. However the washing has been very clean and quite dry after the spin cycle.
We are very happy with our purchase.

Cleaning cycles are quicker than our old machine, making it very economical!
Took a few uses to get used the touch controls, but very happy with the machine & the cleaning results!

The washing function is good, though I would drop half a start as the eco wash doesn't have an option for 30 degree only mode - most washes and modern washing tablets/powders/liquids wash perfectly well at that temperature, so not being able to set that seems like a miss when it comes to energy and cost savings.
The drying is as you would expect from a washer dryer - sufficient, but not as good as a standalone vented dryer, but this is too be expected to some degree.
I wouldn't even bother to try drying towels, they hold far too much water for the having to overcome, just spin them and then hang them to dry on the towel rack!
