My first one of these stopped working within a month and was replaced under warranty. Its replacement has just stopped working because the (unreplacable) microswitch only functions when it feels like it. On both models the burr grinding wheel locked in the courser position and could not be moved. Frustratingly, it’s impossible to dismantle without specialist tools. I would recommend buying a better designed, more reliable model.

I have bought this to replace my old blade grinder which hacked the beans to bits. This grinder however is like a Rolls Royce the build quality is amazing and the weight of it is like a house brick. It feels robust and feels like it will last a number of years. It's burr grinding does a great job and the option to adjust the Grind strength from large to fine makes it ideal for French press, filter, drip or espresso. It's great to also be able to set the amount of grinds you want such as one scoop two or more. Coffee grounds are dispensed into the plastic drawer ready for you to use. The hopper has room for plenty of coffee beans and will only Grind what you set it to Grind and remaining beans stay in the hopper for your next use. Highly recommend this grinder it's powerful, stylish and great quality.

I bought this as a birthday present for my husband and he is very happy with it. It is easy to use and there are different settings for coarseness of grind. Perfect for use with his cafetiere.

Excellent coffee grinder. Good quality and great price. Can get my coffee beans really fine. It has several grades of grinding. I am very pleased. Also AO are an excellent company to deal with. Over the last 5 years have bought all my kitchen appliances with them.

This grinder is great looking, very sleek and modern. However, the grind consistency is not amazing. I use the coarsest setting for making coffee in a cafetiere and you do get a considerable amount of fines. It is hard to complain when you consider the price tag though
