Fabulous but flawed

Good, cheap hob that feels much more substantial than something this price should. But... that satin surface is awful. It marks really easily (with water!) and although it seems to clean up, I have the feeling I'm going to be constantly wiping it.

Excellent cast iron gilles, so they hold pans really well, no slipping.
Only issue I have is that the brushed aluminium is really rough, so quite difficult to clean.

Basic hob- no bells and whistles. Does what it says on the label. The gas caps move out of position too easily, however. But hey, it’s cheap.
