The gas option is great and the size has been convenient. But the loud noise of the induction hob was a shock. At any temperature and with any type of pan (including cast iron) this hob makes a very loud noise while cooking. Have had an engineer to check and confirmed this is just the noise of the hob

Great to keep gas option, as our first use of induction. Induction does seem slow to warm things up, unless we set to number 7, but perhaps that's us! Difficult to see induction area markings and setting buttons, unless bright light above. Otherwise, so far has been easy to keep clean.
