Good but some flaws!
4/5
This Haier oven is a solid choice. Positives: sleek design, large capacity, and a subtle brand display. It fits well in any kitchen. It offers numerous functions, though some need getting used to. Setup was easy, but the detailed manual is only via QR code, a paper version would be better. It heats up fast and maintains temperature well. Built-in timers and delay start are handy to use. The oven has many functions, maybe too many? You set function, time, temp, and press play – a paper manual would help get used to the functions. Smart features were a letdown. I spent hours trying and couldn't connect it to my 2.4GHz WiFi or the "hon" app, so I couldn't test these. The display brightness is adjustable, but the buttons are a major flaw. They're hard to see, especially under a countertop. Backlit buttons would be a great accessibility feature. Touch sensitivity could also be improved. Included trays: deep roasting, air fryer, and grill. A grill tray for the roasting pan would be better for catching drips. Removing food from the grill can be messy. Replacement tray availability is a concern how easily replaceable are these especially the air fryer one? Self-cleaning is a feature I haven't tested yet. The oven is very quiet. I use the timer as it's easy to forget food is cooking! Pre-heating - it beeps when pre heated has finished and then you have to press play again to get the timer going again which is annoying. **Overall:** It's a good oven. I'd recommend it for its quiet operation and efficient heating. However, the smart features may not work, and the buttons are hard to use. Consider these factors before buying.
