Seems to wash dishes as expected

The extra money over other brands made it a difficult choice, but the moment I opened the door I knew I had made the right decision. The first few washes have yielded perfect results and it feels robust and sturdy. There is ample room within the washer to stack a lot of place settings and everything receives a thorough wash.

Great machine, nice and quiet.

Feels very sturdy, well designed layout, love the cutlery drawer, racks are easy to adjust, decent length programme options, incredibly quiet (by comparison to vintage Bosch dishwasher!). Now just need to get many years service in our heavy usage household!

Great dishwasher, very solid and gets the dishes clean

Pros: This dishwasher is very spacious and customizable - the middle rack can be raised or lowered to 3 different heights (and can be adjusted on an angle, with one side higher than the other to accommodate taller items underneath) and has a small mug shelf that has 2 height/angle options or can be folded aside; the bottom rack has tines that can be folded flat to make more room for large pots or pans; and there is an upper rack/cutlery drawer that is very handy for ladles and other large utensils, as well as having slots to keep knives and regular cutlery in place. There is also a regular cutlery basket for the bottom rack if one prefers. The dishwasher cleans well and has a very quiet operation. Cons: I don’t find this dishwasher dries items quite as well as my previous Beko dishwasher did - I often have to do a quick wipe with a dish towel before storing items. This is despite use of rinse aid. Installation was also not as straightforward as expected, as the Miele has a built-in filter in the hose which meant that that part of the hose was unable to pass through the hole that was carved out of our inner cupboard wall, which I assume was a standard size hole for most dishwasher hoses, so this is something to keep in mind (we had to create a new hole). A very small pet peeve is that the dishwasher is more of an off-white/muted white colour that doesn’t match the more optic, bright white of our fridge and dishwasher, which makes it look a bit aged/dated in comparison. Overall however, if you mainly care about wash performance and capacity, this is a great dishwasher and more customizable than any other dishwasher I’ve used.
