So going on first impressions, (we have the freezer about a month), this freezer is very good. I love the light which is part of the reason I went for this one after lots of research. It's also great that it's an E energy rating as most, if not all other freezers are an F rating. Another advantage is that you can check the temperature without opening the door, something others complained about with other freezers. The noise level changes from pretty much silent to a faint 'hum' which isn't imposing at all. You wouldn't really notice it unless you're particularly sensitive to background sounds. The only disadvantage we had was that when we installed it (ourselves) it was very slightly off level-wise and when we tried to rectify that using the front adjustable feet it just caused it to wobble as it would need to be adjustable at the back too to avoid this. So we just returned it somewhat back to the original level. The bubble is still within the central level lines so we feel it's not significant enough to be concerned about. Oh and one more thing, we don't have a furniture door on ours, and it's not necessary to have one, although if you stand a little away from the freezer you can see the black adjustable feet at the bottom. If you're a perfectionist it might bother you but you could also cover them with a base board if it is an issue for you as they sit recessed a bit from the front of the door. It would be nice if it had a better ice tray/ ice making function. The ice tray provided is small and more like an after thought. But really the pros far outweigh this. Finally, we thought there was a part missing and Samsung sent it out straight away. Turns out the picture of the part was badly drawn and we did actually have it already. Also, there was a panel at the back that had been fitted oddly causing it to be dented. It has no effect on the function of the freezer and is purely aesthetic. It's also at the back of the freezer so you can't even see it. Regardless Samsung gave us a 5% discount as compensation and have been diligent in checking to make sure we received it and we're happy with everything. I have read some bad reviews about Samsung but I'm crossing my fingers I'll still be happy with the product as time goes by ??????
