Its been in a year. The best feature is it turns off after a certain time. I'm getting it swapped for something useful. I love induction cooking but if this was your first one you would change to gas. Tiny unpracticable zones to cook on. Zone size is way to small or will turn the hob buttons up/down/off. No real control over the heat. First 4 do nothing. 5 is ok. 6 will over boil. 7 and up will burn it. And if youre looking for it to boil pasta quick heat the water in a kettle first and transfer. Honestly I loved my old Hotpoint induction, 10 stars. This is dire.

Love the hob. Excellent controls and cooking zones. Massive upgrade from my old gas hob. Cooks efficiently and gives you excellent flexibility.

New to induction, but very pleased so far. Very quick to respond to controls. Flexizone already proving very useful. Looks really nice against the worktop.

I ordered this Hotpoint Induction hob to replace a Hotpoint Ceramic hob as were having a kitchen refit. I ordered Hotpoint as the hob we have now is still in full working order and 18 years old! Just a little bit worn as we I herited it when we moved. Hotpoint all the way for me. Also at previous property Hotpoint hob 15 years old! Hotpoint all the way for me

Looking to replace it. I had an old 3 zone Hotpoint for 12 years and it was honestly the best item in my kitchen. As we were having a refit I made the mistake of changing to this on as I thought the old one was getting on. BIG MISTAKE! Where as the old hob on boost took 30 secs to heat a pan this takes around 2 mins (and its the same pan). This is also a very cramped area to work on due to the controls. OK once pans are heated but the squares make it a pain with bigger pans. Take my advice and go get something else. We will.
