    Rangemaster 900 professional +

    5/5
We bought a new cooker following the installation of a new kitchen. We ordered with AO and the cooker was with us within 48 hours and considering all other providers couldn't deliver for 2+ weeks! The cooker is brilliant and is what you would expect from rangemaster. Takes a bit of getting used to but once you get there you will love it. Well done AO.

Excellent cooker, shame about a couple of build problems

    4/5
Only had this cooker a few days, but really enjoying it. Very quiet, good heat control, feels strong and sturdy. The only disappointments are that the pan support over the wok burner is warped and not really safe to use as a pan could topple, and the griddle is a little warped. AO were great to confirm this and got in touch with Rangemaster immediately. Rangemaster have said 20 days to replace though!! Too long. They were meant to get back to me with an improved time, but haven't hear back.

    Problems, problems

    3/5
Lots of problems with this cooker . Initially found a flaw in the enamel top, incorrect knobs fitted, grill compartment door warped. Replacement knob for gas oven was for an electric one. Then three months after purchase the gas oven has broken down and we have endless problems with Rangemaster trying to get it replaced. Theiir Customer Service Department is totally incompetent - they don't call back when they say they will, haven't registered what the actual problem is, don't deliver when they say they will, so over Easter when I have visitors I'm without my main oven. The response to everything we suggest is "no", basically they' ve just shrugged their shoulders and ignored us.

    Well built quality range cooker

    5/5
I've only just bought it and don't have anything negative to say. Positives are; * That I can use both conventional gas and the more efficient fan oven to suit the food I'm cooking. * The grill which uses runners like a draw which is really convenient. * The oven tray attached to the door is very helpful so I don't have to take my roast chicken out of the oven to check if its cooked yet. * The burners are a good range, from small ones to the really powerful one. * The knobs and switches have a quality feel to them. * Painted surfaces seem durable. * AO had a great price at the time I purchased!

    Efficient and quiet

    5/5
So pleased with this purchase. It was a big decision and we did a lot of research as it was expensive. However so far so good. Excellent results all round. We have cooked bread, roasts and stir fry. We have used both cookers and grill to get used to the cooker range. Excellent. Quiet and efficient.

    manufacturer defects

    1/5
unpackaged the item and there were many manufacturer defects the stainless steel was lighter in some areas than others. The griddle plate was not smoothed before enamelling nor was the enamel coated correctly it was patchy. The front face of cooker where the dials are had a black line running the whole way round. Non of which can be buffed out. It had alot of finger prints all over it which I found unusual for a new item. The item looks and feels cheap for an item costing nearly £1500 I expected better from rangemaster. I feel other brands are better quality and value for money. just take note the main cavity will not light until the clock has been set.

Rangemaster gas range - as good as ever

    5/5
I decided to replace my (very old but reliable) Rangemaster Classic Gas range with a new Rangemaster - future proofing I'd planned to get another Classic (in cranberry) but lead times were very long This was available from ao from stock and at a promotional price - a bonus It is essentially the same range - the differences are just cosmetic I was a slightly concerned that it would look out of place in my very much unfitted kitchen but it looks just fine The range is everything I've come to expect from Rangemaster On my old Classic the tall oven was a slow/oven plate warmer so I had to get used to the fan oven Not much time needed for that - it's a super, efficient little oven The main gas oven's slow cooking setting works just fine for the slow cooked dishes I frequently make The gas oven runs true to temperature and is really easy to clean The top, too has proved easy to clean and the range of burners should suit anyone I particularly like that the Rangemaster's wok burner is on one side of the hob rather than centrally placed as many other makes are Just seems easier to work with - especially if you're using other rings at the same time I initially found the grill to be a bit of a "slow burner" but it took very little getting used to and the grillpan, too, is a doddle to clean I think you may have gathered that I'm very pleased with my purchase which I would recommend to anyone wanting a solid, well built, realistically priced range cooker that will fit into a reasonably small space An added advantage for this range is that an ordinary 13 amp socket is all that is needed for connection
