I love induction cooking, but be aware that induction cooking emits a high pitched sound
5/5
It looks great and its very easy to clean. The induction cooks very well, and is quicker than a gas hob - cooking is much faster as a result which is very welcome, as you spend less time waiting for the water to heat or for the frying pan to warm up. The ovens are great, and have nice little USP touches like the grill pan that rolls out, and the oven tray that is attached to the door and swings out when you open the oven door. From those perspectives I love it, and am happy we bought it.
I wish I had known that it emits a high pitched buzzing sound when the hob is in use - the induction causes the pans to vibrate and as they vibrate they emit a noticeable sound. I personally do not mind the sound, but both my teenage children find the noise so awful that they have to leave the kitchen and go to the other end of the house. Teenagers have a broader range of hearing than adults, and I believe them when they say that they find the sound of cooking on the induction hob unbearable. I also didn't know you shouldn't buy an induction cooker if you have a pacemaker, and you must keep your credit card away as it can demagnetise the strip. Nevertheless, as long as you are not sound sensitive, I would highly recommend it.
