Works fine but there are issues

I’m not mad about my new hob.
Firstly the box was full of instructions, guarantees etc in every possible language except English. AO customer services were very helpful, Hotpoint less so. But a hob is a hob and there is no real need for detailed instructions, and I did eventually get the guarantee sorted.
Secondly my gas fitter (not AO) struggled a bit with the fitting as he said it was on a different side from almost every gas hob he has every fitted, which seemed a bit odd, but we got it done.
Thirdly- and most annoying - I deliberately chose a hob wider than my previous one to allow more room for the five burners, and in particular the largest central wok burner. However, the burners are the same distance apart, the extra 5cm is just wasted space at the sides! You can actually see from the photographs that the side burners do not sit centrally inside the supports. So no extra cooking room for pots and pans at all.
It was one of the cheaper options for a reason, and I do wish I’d realised this before I bought it.
