    A little flimsy

    3/5
Looks smart and is easy to use. Bought for my 85 year old dad. The main problem that he has found is that the pan stands are not very sturdy and he’s already knocked a small frying pan off the front. I think his old hob had cast iron pan supports, which were much more stable and maybe we should have looked at them.

Does the job but could be a lot better

    2/5
Had this hob for over a year now. The stainless steel is easy to clean but marks rather easily. The enamel pan support have very poor rubber feet on the bottom which consequently means they degrade and fall off. The pan support then scratches the stainless steel surface and makes it look bad. The burners have enamel? black tops on the flue that distributes the gas. These are very poorly fitting so after cleaning if you have knocked them off centre the gas burns unevenly on your pan. Not sure if the burner is underrated for gas supply pressure as quite often the gas burns with yellow tips. This is not a clean burn. Make sure you have CO detector in place and working. Overall the hob does the job but next time I'll go and view hobs in a showroom so we get a better idea of what we're getting.
