Am starting to get to know the oven now, and generally enjoying it. Like many other reviews, the functions are really difficult to see without the light on. Am also finding the steaming up on normal microwave programme (profuse in some cases) a bit disconcerting. Keeps the inside nice and clean though. Not having a turntable still seems a little counter intuitive, but I am getting used to it as results are generally good. All in all, I am pleased with the results I am getting and looking forward to trying out new things.

This oven is nothing short of brilliant with it's smart re heating function that really does work, the steam and cleaning functions. Absolutely ideal for a solitary 72 year old like me who bulk cooks and uses the reheat function a lot. Fortunately the reheat function is the default function and all you need to do is close the door and press the button but all the other functions although faultless in operation are hampered by the very poor display which in some lighting conditions is practically invisible! If ever a backlight was needed Panasonic this is one of those occasions.

Fast, efficient and cooks perfectly

Works really well, very efficient and effective. Bought to use in my new home where I don't have a conventional oven, and with this I don't need one. Oven-cooked food is moister and evenly cooked than in my old electric fan-assisted oven. Microwave excellent. Haven't tried steaming yet....

I thoroughly recommend this oven. It’s a bit complicated at first and the manual is kept by it but, I’m sure with time, it will get easier. It’s so easy to keep clean with just a wipe over after use. It does things in half the time too. I haven’t tried the steam function yet but it seems straightforward. The drop-down door is much better than a side opening one as it is smooth and stays put rather than the whole thing moving when opening it. It also means you access the whole oven without losing space to the side opening. There’s nothing I don’t like about this oven.

I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying using it so far and that you find the steaming function useful. Placing the menu on the nearby wall makes it quicker to identify which function to choose.

Impressive functionality but let down by the difficult to read display

Very nice microwave - neat size, very capable range of functions. Also, super easy to use.
